Property owners and managers face a range of different insurance needs, problems and queries from tenants that are best served by insurance professionals with specialist knowledge of the property sector.

Realty will provide you and your tenants with an experienced, knowledgeable, friendly insurance team to call your own. We will manage and deal with all the insurance issues you face and will treat your tenants as if they are our own clients, thereby ensuring that your reputation and standing with your occupiers is enhanced.

Our Property Owners Team acts for a wide range of clients, from the UK’s largest private property company with an international portfolio of many billions of pounds, to individual investors with a handful of properties. Our clients also include chartered surveyors, estate agents and residential management companies / associations with portfolios encompassing residential, commercial, retail, industrial, leisure and mixed use properties.

Realty will become an integral part of your business by:


	Advising on and arranging insurance before and during construction
	Advising on and placing permanent insurance for your property portfolio
	Advising on and arranging your operational insurance covers
	Advising on the insurance provisions within funding agreements and negotiating directly with banks and their lawyers to ensure practical terms are agreed
	Negotiating competitive terms with insurers
	Agreeing wide, bespoke policy wordings on your behalf
	Informing new tenants of their cover, premiums and responsibilities
	Dealing directly with tenants, contractors and managing agents on insurance matters
	Providing, within agreed timescales, cover summaries, certificates of insurance and detailed premium allocations and breakdowns for recovery purposes
	Handling and negotiating claims

In addition to pure insurance, supplementary services are available such as engineering inspections, electrical test certification, fire risk assessments, asbestos surveys and building energy efficiency surveys.
